Introduction
The Pipelines feature is used to track the progress of potential property acquisitions.
Once you create a pipeline, you can add properties to it and set a status for each property on the pipeline.
The pipeline feature has many benefits;
- Easily keep track of all potential deals in a single place
- Coordinate with colleagues that are also involved with the property
- View potential properties on the map, and filter by pipeline, status, client and contact
- Quickly produce a list of potential properties for client meetings at the click of a button
Create a Pipeline
You must first create a pipeline before you can add properties to it.
You can create a pipeline either from the pipelines page (in the main menu) or from the pipeline tab on the scheme or property view.
From the Pipeline Page
When creating a pipeline, you set;
- Pipeline name - what you would like to refer to the Pipeline "Doghnut Shops"
- Client - set the client company that the pipeline is for
- Contact - set the contact that the pipeline is for
From the Map/Property View
You can also create a Pipeline from the property view.
Adding properties to pipelines
Once you've created your pipeline you can start to add properties to it. When you add a property, you must select its status and optionally set a reason;
Pipeline Status
There are various different stages in the pipeline, including:
- To be Inspected (TBI)
- Offer Submitted/negotiating
- With Solicitors
- Exchanged
- Completed
- Withdrawn
Pipeline Reasons
- New Store
- Upsize
- Downsize
- Relocation
- Disposal/Closure
Viewing Pipeline Properties on the Map
You can create a filter on the map to view properties that are in a pipeline.
The filter allow you to view properties via pipeline, status, and client.
This is really useful if you would like to see all properties that need to be inspected to help you plan a trip, or strategically view properties in comparison to complimentary or competing retailers, which you can setup using additional filters.
View the map documentation for further inforamtion on filters and how to use them.
