Introduction
Property is most easily seen on a map and that's exactly what the map page is for.
It's where most users spend most of their time.

Browsing the map
You can browse the map by zooming in and out and dragging the map around exactly as you would in other mapping programs.
As you are browsing the map, markers will be displayed to show you where properties and scheme are located.
You must have a certain zoom level to be able to see RPD markers
If the tenants logo as been added you will see this, if it is vacant (or the logo has not been added) you will see a light purple marker.
Schemes are represented by a dark purple marker, the number after the name of the scheme will show you number of properties on the scheme.
To view more information about a scheme or property, simply click on the marker and you will be shown the scheme or property view.
Streetview
You can also use the streetview by dragging the man icon onto the map as usual.
Map/Satellite view
You can also choose between the Map and Satellite views by pressing the corresponding button as usual.
Searching the map
You are able to search for locations on the map using the box at the top right of the page.
You can either choose to search by the address, or by the scheme name.

Show RPD Properties
The 'Show RPD Properties' toggle will choose whether to display RPD markers on the map. This is useful when browsing, however you may wish to turn this off if using other features such as demographics or filters.
Group by Scheme
The 'Group by Scheme' toggle will choose whether to show properties that are part of a scheme. When turned on, you will be shown a scheme marker and a number after the name indicating the number of properties within the scheme. When turned off, you will not see a scheme marker and instead the individual properties will be shown.
Google Markers
The 'Google Markers' toggle will choose whether to show Google markers on the map.
Demographics
The 'Demographics' toggle will choose whether to show demographic markers on the map. Click on the marker to view demographic information about that area.
Car Charging
The 'Car Charging' toggle will choose whether to show car charging locations on the map.
Using Filters
You can use filters to customise the information being shown on the map. This is particularly useful for reviewing deal data to help you find comparable evidence, or store lists for tenants.
Creating a filter
To add a filter press the add filter button at the top of the filters box. Choose the corresponding values to create your filter.
Examples
Display a store list for Tesco
To display a store list for Tesco;
- Click the 'Add Filter' button
- In the Tenants section, search for the tenant Tesco
- Press Save
The filter will now be added to the filters box. You can turn it on by clicking it. After a moment the markers will be displayed on the map. You can click on the marker in the usual way to view further information about that property.
Display a list of properties owned by British Land
To display a list of properties and schemes owned by British Land;
- Click the 'Add Filter' button
- In the Landlord section, search for the landlord British Land
- Press Save
- The new filter should appear in the filters list
- When turned on, the map will display markers where British Land is the Landlord
Combination filters
Now that you are a bit more familiar with creating a filter, I am sure you will have noticed that there are many more options available to you.
You can combine filters to create more complex queries. For example, you could display a list of properties that are owned by British Land and are occupied by Tesco.
If you have added your property lease data to RPD, you can also filter by lease data. For example, you could display a list of properties that have a lease expiry date in the next 6 months and British Land is the Landlord.
Toggling filters on and off
The filter will now be added to the filters box. You can turn it on by clicking it. After a moment the markers will be displayed on the map. You can click on the marker in the usual way to view further information about that property.
