4, Traffic to an Ionity hub will always be the most frequent of all charging hubs across the sector – reason being every new customer of an electric car of BMW, Merc, VW, Porsche, Audi, Ford and Hyundai (who co-own Ionity) receive an Ionity pass which gives them discount charging on the Ionity network – those customers will drive past other charging hubs to get to an Ionity. The location of existing Ionity charging hubs will automatically be inbuilt into those Sat Nav’s – and this will generate more revenue for the scheme’s occupiers on the site from Ionity customers
